These pieces are extensions of my photographs and illustrations; below is a display of them given life, through movement - appearing as GIFs, videos or edits, that are multiply layers of images, with effects to enhance the form or colour of the image's subject, achieved with the use of a number of different software and applications.

The first image is a sci-fi-esque interpetation of the Little Prince.
The second to the fifth belong to my second year photography project, titled "Pigments"these edits are of the irregularities of skin, that I think the more you look at them, the more of a significant image they become. The sixth also belongs to that project- the drawings are of clay models that were based on the anthropomorphic shapes created by flint, inspired by Henry Moore's work and process. While the tenth and eleventh are pieces where I used stills from the film the Nymphomaniac Two. The 32nd and penultimate image was created on the day David Bowie died, the speech says: " "what in the world can you do, I'm in the mood for love". |
